Welcome to Tranquility Salt Cave!
We are Columbus’ only salt cave, located off Rt 23, 1 mile north of 270 (near Lewis Center – just 15 minutes South of Delaware). We offer halotherapy (dry salt therapy). Our beautiful man-made cave has over 10,000 pounds of Himalayan boulders imported from the Himalayan mountains. The floor is heated, with granulated Himalayan salt on top. Some of the boulders on the wall change colors throughout the session. These colors represent the chakras, or energy centers in the body. Our five 250 pound salt lamps around the perimeter of the room create the negative ions which help to create a deep calming and release of anxiety.
Our lights on the celing gently wash over over you, again, creating a deep relaxation. Lovely Tibetan bowl music overhead calms and lulls one into a deep state of relaxation. Then pharmaceutical grade salt is ground and infused into the air. This fine mist cleanses the sinuses and lungs. It also assists with symptoms related to allergies, sinusitis, copd, excema, and so much more. The ability to totally relax in the cave is a blessing, and our clients with respiratory issues find great relief.
We also offer our Ionic Detox Foot bath, which removes toxins from the body, and our Sauna is very comforting to those with joint issues, and it too, helps with detoxing the body. Our heated biomats are so relaxing as well. The biomats are in a private room, on top of a massage table. Essential oils are flowing, soft music, as your nerves and muscles relax. We offer private sessions as well for groups of 6 or more, and we offer a private room for 4 for an Ionic Detox session as well. You are welcome to experience our services by yourself or with a group of friends.
